Access to Care for the Uninsured

The United Christian Ministries of Abbeville County (UCMAC) helps uninsured 19-64-year-old adult residents of Abbeville County receive medical care from providers who offer free services.

If you don’t have insurance, AAMC can help you find low or no cost policies. Just click on this link.

Disposal of Unused Medications

As part of a partnership with the Abbeville County Sheriff’s Office, Cornerstone, and Alcohol and Drug Rehab to help keep unused opioids and prescription drugs off of the street, medications can be disposed of at the Abbeville Sheriff office, Cornerstone and local drug stores.

Do you have unwanted prescription or over-the-counter medication you need to dispose of? AAMC is able to provide the public with a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs! Our drug drop box is located in the emergency department waiting area and is available 24 hours a day.
