The Abbeville Area Rehab and Wellness Center gym will be reopening beginning June 1st. Specific guidelines will be in place that follow the reopening recommendations for gyms set forth by the Governor.
They include:
• Gym occupancy is limited to 10 members at one time.
• Gym use will be limited to a maximum of 1-hour.
• Appointments will be necessary for gym use. Members should contact the Wellness Center to reserve days and times by calling (864) 366-3354. One-hour slots will be available Monday – Thursday (i.e. 7:30am, 8:30am, 9:30am, etc.) beginning at 7:30am with the last appointment at 6:30pm, Friday beginning at 7:30am with the last appointment at 4:30pm and Saturday beginning at 7:00am with the last appointment at 10:00am. Our goal is to reduce wait times for equipment and entry into the gym.
• Temperatures will be taken upon gym entry and members will be asked to sanitize their hands.
• Limited equipment will be available in order to meet social distancing requirements.
• Locker rooms will be open, however showers cannot be used.
• Towels will not be provided. Please bring your own.
• Water fountains may only be used to refill water bottles. Please bring your own.
• Equipment should be thoroughly sanitized BEFORE and AFTER use by the member.
• Minimal belongings should be brought into the gym, preferably only car keys.
• No classes will be offered at this time.

AAMC to Host Ribbon Cutting for Community Resource Center & Pavilion
Abbeville Area Medical Center (AAMC) will be hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony for its Community Resource Center and Pavilion on Monday, April 22, at 2:00pm.
