Abbeville Area Physician Network’s Trey Moore, MD, Elected to SC Immunization Coalition Board

Trey Moore, MD, family physician at the Abbeville Area Physician Network Healthcare Center, has been elected to the South Carolina Immunization Coalition Board of Directors. Moore was selected from a group of twenty-three highly qualified nominees and will serve from July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023.

“It is an honor and a privilege to be selected to serve the people of South Carolina in this role,” stated Moore. “Immunizations serve as the best way to reduce infectious mortality and decrease preventable infectious disease.”

The mission of the South Carolina Immunization Coalition is “to promote the overall health of South Carolina residents through uniting vaccination champions to promote and implement current evidence-based practices and strategies that enhance the uptake of recommended and approved vaccines among all Palmetto State residents.”
