Dr. Childers was born and raised in Honea Path, South Carolina. Growing up, she always knew she wanted to become a primary care doctor and eventually return to her hometown to practice medicine. She attended Erskine College in Due West, completing a shadowing program at Due West Family Medicine. She came to love the practice and its physicians and always dreamed of being able to return there to practice medicine one day. Dr. Childers attended medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine-Georgia Campus in Suwanee, Georgia, and completed her Family Medicine Residency at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center where she served as chief resident during my third year. Dr. Childers loves time with her husband, Jonathan, and young son, Noah.
