Dr. William Long is a native of Spartanburg, SC and a graduate from South Carolina State University where he received a Bachelors of Science Degree. Dr. Long served eight (8) years active duty in the United States Coast Guard. While stationed in Charleston, SC, he was hand selected to supervise the newly formed Maritime Homeland Security Office Department in response to the horrific events of 9/11. He also holds a Master of Arts Degree from the Citadel Military College and later acquired his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine Degree from Temple University in 2009. Dr. Long completed a four year Foot and Ankle surgical residency at University of Pennsylvania Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA before returning to the Upstate.
