Dr Leslie completed her undergraduate degree in Chemistry at Gardner-Webb College. She then attended East Carolina University School of Medicine where she received her medical degree. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood, SC. She is board certified by the American Board for Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. She has been a part of Due West Family Medicine since 1998. She and her husband, David, reside just outside of Due West and have two children, Jonathan and Jordan. They enjoy home schooling, camping and participating in scout and church activities. They are members of Rice Memorial Baptist Church where Dr Leslie also serves as and interpreter for the hearing impaired.

Dr Angel is originally from the Cajun town of Thibodaux, Louisiana. After completing her undergraduate degrees at Georgetown College, she attended LSU Medical School then completed a family medicine residency at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood, SC. She is board certified by the American Board for Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr Angel joined Due West Family Medicine in 2005. She and her husband, Charles, and their 3 children Ethan, Clara and Owen have made the town of Due West their home. They enjoy being part of the Due West and Erskine community. You can often find the Angels walking or biking around town, playing board games and planning their next Disney World trip.

Dr. Childers was born and raised in Honea Path, South Carolina. Growing up, she always knew she wanted to become a primary care doctor and eventually return to her hometown to practice medicine. She attended Erskine College in Due West, completing a shadowing program at Due West Family Medicine. She came to love the practice and its physicians and always dreamed of being able to return there to practice medicine one day. Dr. Childers attended medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine-Georgia Campus in Suwanee, Georgia, and completed her Family Medicine Residency at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center where she served as chief resident during my third year. Dr. Childers loves time with her husband, Jonathan, and young son, Noah.

Courtney Burton is a Family Nurse Practitioner from Honea Path, SC. She graduated cum laude from Lander University School of Nursing in 2003 and then earned her graduate degree from Clemson University in 2012. She is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurse Credentialing Center. She enjoys providing care to patients across the lifespan and provides wellness visits, chronic disease management and care of acute problems such as injury or illness. She and her husband, Jason live in Honea Path with their two daughters, Kate and Ella. She is very involved in her children’s activities, church and local community. She enjoys medical missions and looks forward to planning future trips.

Cameron R. Hipp graduated from Francis Marion University with her Bachelors of Science in 2006 and Masters in Psychology in 2009. She’s board certified as a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina. Cameron has experience primarily in psychiatric and residential care of children, adolescents and young adults. She also provides counseling services for Erskine College. Cameron loves spending time outdoors, reading and playing with her dogs.
