Position Title: Surgical Tech-PT

Department:Surgical Services
Position Description: Responsible for preparing the operating room and assisting in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons and registered nurses and assists in providing an efficient, safe, and supportive environment for the surgical patient and assumes appropriate responsibilities in the preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative phases.

Days:Monday - Friday with call
The above wage range reflects the minimum, midpoint and maximum hourly rate for this position. New employees are hired between the minimum and midpoint of this range. The initial wage offered will be based on qualifications and experience.
    Qualifications:
    Education:Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology or LPN nursing program.
    Experience:Prefer one year clinical experience in surgical setting. Basic computer skills needed.
    Physical Requirements:Long periods of standing
    License Required:Certified Surgical Technologist required. BLS certification.

    Communication skills to relate to patient/significant other/staff/physicians and work effectively with people. Possesses organizational skills necessary in a fast paced, acute care setting.
