Position Description: The Physical Therapist works with patients in their homes to bring about the best possible physical therapy outcomes.

The above wage range reflects the minimum, midpoint and maximum hourly rate for this position. New employees are hired between the minimum and midpoint of this range. The initial wage offered will be based on qualifications and experience.

    Qualifications:
    Education:Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
    Experience:One year experience as a Licensed Physical Therapist preferred but will accept new graduate. Must possess a thorough knowledge of physical therapy principles and processes. Prior experience as a home health physical therapist is preferred. Demonstrated ability to provide quality patient care; the ability to communicate and work effectively with people.
    Special Skills:Must have valid SC driver's license, reliable transportation and proof of valid automobile liability insurance
    Physical Requirements:Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. May be exposed to infectious specimens, diseases, soiled laundry, lifting and handling of heavy patients, but potential for personal harm or injury to self or others is limited when proper safety and health precautions are followed. Able to maintain emotional stability; must be in good physical condition to meet the demands of an active position, including extensive walking, moderate sitting, standing and lifting; physically able to perform CPR. External applicants, as well as position incumbents who become disabled, must be able to perform the essential functions, either unaided or with the assistance of a reasonable accommodation to be determined on a case by case basis.
    License Required:Current licensure as Physical Therapist in good standing for the state of SC; current BCLS certification prior to delivering patient care
