Dr. Chris Ceraldi of Abbeville Area Medical Center to Present October 20th Program

(Abbeville SC) October 4, 2011 – Breast cancer is one of the most feared diagnoses a woman can face (as well as men in rare instances). Deciding whether a tiny lump is just normal breast tissue or something unusual can be a daunting experience for many women. To help address some of these issues and provide women with the latest information on breast care, diagnosis and treatment, Abbeville Area Medical Center is sponsoring a Ladies Night Out program on Thursday, October 20 at 7:00 pm. The program, Breast Cancer: Early Detection and Treatment, will be presented by Dr. Chris Ceraldi, a double board-certified general and vascular surgeon.

“We will talk about the importance of early detection and some of the latest information and new developments in the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer,” said Dr. Ceraldi

Dr. Ceraldi earned his medical degree and completed an internship at the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed his residency at the University of California/Irvine Medical Center, and a vascular fellowship at the Medical College of Virginia.

The Ladies Night Out series is held on a monthly basis at Abbeville Area Medical Center in the Administrative Wing Education Room located at 420 Thomson Circle. The program is free however pre-registration is requested. Attendees will enjoy coffee and dessert and are eligible for a prize drawing at the end of the program.
