Abbeville Area Medical Center is pleased to announce the addition of Rebecca Grice Botts as a Physician Assistant at Family Medicine Associates in Abbeville. Botts completed her undergraduate work at Presbyterian College in Clinton where graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Biology. She holds a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Medical University of South Carolina.
“I was raised in Abbeville, so I’m very excited to be returning to my roots and treating the people of my hometown and surrounding areas,” said Botts. “I’m looking forward to joining the dedicated team of doctors, nurses and staff at Family Medicine Associates.”
Botts is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the South Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants. While at Medical University of South Carolina, Botts volunteered with a number of organizations including CARES clinic, which serves the uninsured in Charleston. In her spare time, she enjoys playing sports as well as singing in her church praise band and a local blue grass band.
